Isaiah

Pastor Mark Allen opens Sent Ones, our series through the Major Prophets, with the book of Isaiah, whose name means "The Salvation of Jehovah." Isaiah sets the depravity of humanity against the holiness of God, then points forward to the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53 who was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. Running through it all is God's relentless desire to break through our sinfulness: "Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow." It is an invitation to come to the water and be made new.
