I Corinthians
Paul wrote to a church in a city that ran on pleasure and philosophy — and to a congregation that was arguing with itself. "I follow Paul." "I follow Apollos." He knew all of that when he sat down to write, and he still started here: God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9).
This message walks the whole letter in two halves. First the carnalities — the divisions, the sexual immorality, the lawsuits, the marriage questions, the Lord's Supper. Then the spiritualities — the value of the gifts, the misuse of them, and the resurrection Paul says our whole faith stands on.
It ends where Paul ends: stand firm, be strong, and let everything you do be done in love. Your work in the Lord is not in vain.
Open the message notes and follow along, then pick one thing worth carrying into your week.
